What is a CKC breed?
Breeds and Genetics CKC was one of the first registries to recognize and register “designer breeds.” All mixed breeds and designer breeds are clearly identified as “Non-Purebred” on their puppy-registration application and registration certificate.
What is better CKC or AKC?
The CKC is more lenient than the AKC when it comes to registration, and neither conform to the exact same breed standards. Both registries require a payment for registering dogs, although the CKC offers breeders the chance for free registration for whole litters.

Can a CKC dog become AKC?

Can I breed AKC with CKC?
The AKC does not recognize the CKC as having sufficiently rigorous record keeping and does not cross register CKC dogs. In order for a litter to be registered as AKC, both parents must be registered with the AKC, a recognized foreign club, or one of a very few domestic registries.

Yes, there are many organizations that register Goldendoodles, the Continental Kennel Club (CKC) is our preference with the highest standards and most recognized second to AKC. You may register your Goldendoodle with CKC using the registration application sent home with your puppy.
