What is an army march out?
March Out parades are held to acknowledge the completion of the Army Recruit Course (ARC) and the Reserve Recruit Training Course (RRTC). The March Out day gives family and friends the opportunity to join in celebrating the graduating soldiers’ achievements.

What happens after March out at Kapooka?
After the ARC March Out Function The return bus will pick the recruits up at the Wagga Wagga train station at 9:00 pm and return them to Kapooka. While on local leave, the soldiers may eat, socialise and shop anywhere within Wagga and the surrounding villages. They have no geographic restrictions.
What should I wear to Kapooka March?
In the cooler months, the recommended dress for the parade is suit and tie for men, and an equivalent for ladies. A minimum of collared shirt, slacks and neat shoes is expected. Ex-Service members are permitted to wear their own medals on the left side.
