What is an EQ8 software?
Electric Quilt 8 (EQ8) is the most user-friendly quilt design software on the market! With Electric Quilt 8, you can design your own quilts using the 6,000+ included blocks and 6,200 fabrics (or add your own) and then print your fabric yardage, get rotary-cutting charts, templates, foundation patterns, etc.
What is the difference between EQ7 and EQ8?
EQ8 has all the same tools and features as EQ7, but the appearance has changed and new features have been added to make it easier to use. You can upgrade from EQ7 to EQ8 but the programs run independent of each other, which means any project created in EQ7 can be opened in EQ8.
Does EQ8 work on IPAD?
iPads are not set up with the system requirements to run EQ software. Our full-featured quilt design software is not feasible on these smaller hand-held devices. For customers interested in using EQ8 on tablets, please be aware that EQ8 will work on tablets that run Windows 10, Windows 8.1 and Windows 7.
