What is Fomblin oil?
The trade name Fomblin® PFPE identifies a family of synthetic lubricants entirely composed of carbon, oxygen and fluorine, belonging to the class of perfluoropolyethers. They are clear, colorless and odorless oils that remain liquid in a very wide range of temperatures, spanning –100 °C (-148°F) up to 290°C (554°F).
