ROYTEC. Hello Ferdinand, When ROYTEC was formed in 1987, the name of the institution was Royal Bank Institute of Technology. The name ROYTEC is not an acronym, but a compound name created by combining ‘ROY’ from Royal Bank and ‘TEC’ from Technology, hence giving the name ROYTEC.
