What is Roytec?
ROYTEC. Hello Ferdinand, When ROYTEC was formed in 1987, the name of the institution was Royal Bank Institute of Technology. The name ROYTEC is not an acronym, but a compound name created by combining ‘ROY’ from Royal Bank and ‘TEC’ from Technology, hence giving the name ROYTEC.

Our partner institution, the University of New Brunswick (UNB), Fredericton, attained recognition from the ACTT in 2013 as a foreign awarding institution and remains compliant with all reporting and statutory requirements for programmes offered in Trinidad and Tobago.

As such, COSTAATT embraces the national and international quality standards and requirements set by the Accreditation Council of Trinidad and Tobago (ACTT), which was established by Act of Parliament, No. The College therefore holds accredited institution status until November 17, 2024.
