Contact Us! Sea Camp is a week-long residential adventure exploring the wonders of the marine and estuarine environments for campers ages 10-18. As a Sea Camper, you will have access to research vessels, oceanographic equipment, laboratory facilities, and a professional staff enabling you to learn about the ocean through hands-on experiences.

How much does it cost to visit Sea Center Texas?

Admission is Free. Donations are appreciated. Sea Center Texas has one of the most versatile and active volunteer groups in the TPWD system. Please join us. With your support, we can continue to educate the public about the natural resources of the Texas coast.

What time does the Texas State Aquarium close and reopen?

Please note that the Texas State Aquarium will close at 2 p.m on September 20, 2019 in order to begin preparations for our Night at the Aquarium: Beach Ball fundraising event. Please take this into consideration when planning your visit. The Aquarium will reopen on September 21 for its regular hours of 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Is sea center open in Texas 2021?

Due to Tropical Storm Nicholas, Sea Center Texas will be closed from Monday, September 13, 2021 through Sunday, September 19, 2021 and will resume normal operating hours on Tuesday, September 21, 2021. Admission is Free.
