What is Serviio console?
Serviio is a free media server. It allows you to stream your media files (music, video or images) to renderer devices (e.g. a TV set, Bluray player, games console or mobile phone) on your connected home network.
How do I access Serviio server?
Open up the Serviio Console and go to the Remote tab. Enable ‘Automatically configure your router to allow incoming Internet connections’. This will tell your router to automatically forward port 23424 (http) and 23524 (https) to the machine running Serviio.
Is Serviio free?
With each new installation of Serviio you are granted a 15 day evaluation of Serviio Pro – an extended edition of your favourite media server. It has some nice features which the free edition lacks. After the evaluation period expires, it will revert back to the free edition automatically.
What ports does Serviio use?
Make sure you open TCP 8895 and UDP 1900 ports in firewall. If you are using Windows Firewall these will be open for you automatically by the installer.
How do I use DLNA on my Roku?

- Open the Serviio console.
- Select the Library and then Shared folders section in the menu.
- Add folders that include media files you want to include in the library and pick what type(s) of media files from those folders should be looked for (Video, Audio, Images).
