Is D2 a good school?
D2: A step below D1, but still have some really good athletes and a handful of teams that can compete with low level D1’s. However, when you consider how few athletes play beyond high school this division is still really good competition.
How do you get into a D2 college?
Division II Academic Eligibility
- Complete 16 core courses: Three years of English.
- Earn at least a 2.2 GPA in your core courses.
- Earn an SAT combined score or ACT sum score matching your core-course GPA on the Division II sliding scale, which balances your test score and core-course GPA.
Is D1 or D2 better?
Division 1: level is the highest level competitively so soccer is going to be a lot of work and very time consuming. Division 2: is a little bit less of a competitive focus than D1 but still a very good level with very good universities.
