While First Aid courses are valid for 3 years, most healthcare related occupations require annual CPR re-certification. CPR must be refreshed every 12 months in order to remain valid.
Can you lifeguard with Bronze Cross?
You can be an assistant lifeguard with a Bronze Cross but legally an NLS award holder must be present when you lifeguard. The NLS holder will be the official lifeguard. Bronze Medallion is not sufficient to assist a lifeguard.
