What is the use of Crinone gel?
This medication is used to treat infertility in women who do not make enough of a certain natural hormone called progesterone. Progesterone works by preparing the lining of the womb to receive a fertilized egg. This hormone is needed to maintain pregnancy.
What does Crinone discharge look like?
Crinone gel can stay in your vagina for several days. You may get a beige to brownish clumpy or cloudy white discharge during this time. This discharge can cause irritation, pain or swelling of the vagina but this is nothing to worry about. If you get any side effects, talk to your doctor or pharmacist or nurse.
How much Crinone is in a box?
Each applicator is sealed in a wrapper and contains a single dose of CRINONE. Each applicator contains 1.45 g of gel and delivers a constant dose of 1.125 g of CRINONE gel containing 90 mg (8% gel) of progesterone. CRINONE is available in boxes containing 6, 15 or 18 applicators*.

The progesterone in Crinone® will help prepare the lining of your uterus so that it is ready to receive and nourish a fertilized egg. If pregnancy occurs, Crinone® may be supplemented for 10 to 12 weeks until production of progesterone by the placenta is adequate.
