What is thermography powder?
Thermography is the process of spreading thermal powders on the wet ink of a print application and heating it in order to melt the powder into a single solid mass which is raised above the printed surface.
How do you use thermography powder?
How to Print Raised Ink
- Print out the item that you want to raise on your printer, or stamp it with a rubber stamp.
- Shake thermography powder onto your printed sheet.
- Shake off the excess powder into the trash or onto newspaper to dispose of.
- Blow-dry the paper.
What is the difference between letterpress and thermography?
