For most students, the gap between grades 5 and 6 is very large, because learning skills tends to be more difficult than just learning facts. What are the different grades of piano?
There are eight grades of exam for Piano and candidates may be entered for any grade irrespective of age and without previously having taken any other grade in Piano. Where can I get a piano for my ABRSM exam?
ABRSM Centres provide a piano suitable for exam purposes. The piano will be upright or grand. Practice before the exam cannot be arranged, but examiners will recognise that the instrument may be one to which candidates are unaccustomed.
