What time railway reservation counter opens?
Indian Railways reservation counters are open from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm (Monday to Saturday) and 8:00 am to 2:00 pm on Sundays.

In the directive to the railways to allow daily tickets, principal secretary Aseem Gupta from the State Disaster Management Authority said that from now on full vaccination would be the only mandatory condition for issuance of any kind of ticket for travel on local and passenger trains.

What if counter ticket is not confirmed?
If Waiting Ticket List is not confirmed, the passenger should travel only in Unreserved (General) Coach or he has to cancel the ticket.

While booking of train tickets has resumed at around 1.7 lakh offline common service centers and ticketing agents across India from today, it has also been confirmed that booking of only reserved tickets has begun at select counters of different railway stations.
