How does housing work at OSU?
Campus housing is home to first-year and upperclass students. All unmarried, full-time students within two years of high school graduation must live on campus, unless exempted, space is no longer available, or they are living with family. Can you choose your roommate at OSU?
In the housing re-selection portal you can request one roommate. The roommate request must be mutual–which means they will accept and approve the roommate request.
Can PhD students live in student accommodation?
Postgraduate residences aren’t available everywhere, but they will be designed with the needs of Masters and PhD students in mind. They’ll probably be quieter, they may offer more ‘grown up’ facilities such as car parking and they might be a little closer to the laboratory / library than the union bar.
