What is it like to visit Austin Hope winery?
The winery is quite easy to get to, and doesn’t take you on a winding road. Upon arrival, we were given a tasting of their rose. We were seated inside, and introduced to our host. I wish I could remember her name because she was absolutely amazing. The tasting came with 5 Austin Hope wines: Sauvignon Blanc, GSM, Syrah, Graciano and Cab Sauvignon.
What are the best wineries in Austin?
Of the five wineries (Justin, Daou, Calcareous, Opolo) we visited, Austin Hope was our favorite. It was well-balanced in terms of taste, price point, membership benefits and ambience. The only downside is the cost of shipping for the 6 bottle Cellar Club membership. It’s not a flat rate and can be quite expensive.
