When did Everards become a private company?
In 1988 Richard Everard, nephew of Tony, became chairman. He confirmed that Everards would remain an independent family business and in 1997 it repurchased its remaining preference shares to become a private business again. The company also invested in budget hotels, named ‘Original Inns’ based around existing pubs.
When will evereverards be completed?
Everards is under construction and will complete in Q4 2021. It is a rare opportunity to acquire a self-contained building in the heart of the city on either a freehold or leasehold basis. The building will be completed to shell and floor condition allowing an incoming tenant the opportunity to impact upon the design of the finished product.
