Is Anime Expo getting canceled?
With the continued uncertainties surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, it is apparent that we will not be able to safely hold a physical show this July for Anime Expo 2021.
Can you bring food Anime Expo?
Attendees are permitted to bring in food and beverage for personal consumption only. This means only food and drink that you would be able to consume individually. Food and drink brought in bulk will not be permitted into the convention center.
Is Anime Expo in person 2021?
Held annually since 1991, AX now takes place every July 4th weekend and has been in Los Angeles since 2008. Anime Expo Lite’s virtual event dates will be July 3-4, 2021. How old do you need to be to go to Anime Expo?
Ages 14-17: Anyone 14 and older must purchase a 4-day or 1-day general attendee badge. Attendees under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult to pick up their badge. We recommend attendees ages 14-17 have a parent or guardian close by for the duration of the event.
When will ananime Expo badges ship?
Anime Expo will ship 4-Day, 4-Day Child, 1-Day, Premier Fan, Artist Alley, and paid Industry badges, purchased between August 16, 2019, through 12:00 PM PT June 16, 2020, within the United States (excluding minor outlying islands) and Canada.
How do I Register my child for Anime Expo?

When can I request a refund for my Anime Expo 2019 badge?
Refund requests for Anime Expo 2019 badges must be received within 30 days of the purchase date. All refund requests for badges purchased in March 2019 must be received by March 31, 2019.
What do you need to bring to Anime Expo?
The first thing you’ll need is a badge, which comes with a nice lanyard, bag, and program guide. You’ll need to wear it at all times at Anime Expo. Anime Expo can be overwhelming for first-timers.
