UCI Announces the 2021 WorldTour Calendars The Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) has announced the 2021 calendars for the men’s and women’s WorldTour pro cycling races. Specifically, the Olympic road races will be held on July 24, 25, and 28. La Course, the women’s race, will also be held July 18.
How does team pursuit cycling work?
The Team Pursuit is similar to the Individual Pursuit, except that each team consists of three or four riders. The racers ride single file, known as a “pace line”, and take turns leading the team around the track. The winner is determined by the time recorded when the third member of the team crosses the finish line.

How long is a track cycling track?
Length. The length of the track is between 133m and 500m inclusive. For World Championships and Olympic Games, velodromes are 250m. The length of the track is measured 20cm above the inner edge of the track (the upper edge of the blue band).

Collegiate Track Nationals will be held at the Major Taylor Velodrome in Indianapolis, Ind., home of Marian University, September 9-11. Masters Track Nationals will round out track Nationals with a return to Valley Preferred Cycling Center in Breinigsville, Pa. on September 14-19.

Mountain Bike Nationals will return for a second year to Winter Park Resort, July 9-18, with an expanded schedule to include the inaugural High School Bike Festival, High School Mountain Bike National Championship races, and a Collegiate Fair.
