The higher-level Suntour forks and shocks are very good. Don’t judge them by the bottom budget forks. I’d actually put them up there with Fox and RS on quality.

Are XCM and XCR Forks still garbage?

Edit: I should probably clarify. XCM, XCR and XCT forks are still garbage. They’ve always been absolutely entry level shit-tier forks and they can’t not be, considering they have to keep costs at minimum. They’ve stepped up their game massively. Build quality is equal to any of the bigger brands, the forks are built with ridiculously durable materials with minimum rubber, plastic and other flimsy materials. The work of the fork is soft and precise.
