Is there still snow in Niseko in March?
Niseko in March March brings more fine weather days (you’ll actually get to see Mt Yotei!) and it’s an enjoyable time for piste skiers and snowboarders to visit. There are still powder days but these are intermingled with some warmer temps, so snow quality can be completely variable.

It’s always fun to see fresh snow but in such small amounts it doesn’t really make much of a difference. On the last day of the season last year, the official snow depth on the upper slopes of Niseko Grand Hirafu was 255cm. Today it is 160cm.

Is snowjapan’s 2020-2021 winter season over?
