What is ultramid?
Ultramid® A (unreinforced) is the material with the greatest hardness, rigidity, abrasion resistance and thermostability. It is one of the preferred materials for parts subject to mechanical and thermal stresses in electrical, mechanical and automotive engineering.
What is BASF material?

Due to its black colour additives, black Nylon 66 GF30 shows improved UV protection for outdoor weather resistance applications.

What are the Ultraform® products?
The Ultraform ® product line encompasses grades for processing by means of extrusion and injection molding. The following product groups exist: Improved surface resistivity, conductivity in electricity for antistatic or electrical conductive devices and parts to avoid electrostatic discharge.
What is pom Ultraform?
Ultraform® (POM) is the trade name for BASF’s product line of thermo- plastically processable copolymeric polyoxymethyl- enes. The Ultraform®family encompasses engineering plastics with different characteristics suitable for use in complex and highly durable components.
What is the yield point of Ultraform®?
At room temperature, Ultraform®has a pronounced yield point at about 8-12 % strain. Below this limit, Ultraform® exhibits good resilience, even under repeated loading, and is therefore especially suitable for elastic elements. In addition, it has high creep strength and a low tendency to creep (Fig. 2).
How much water does Ultraform® absorb?
Ultraform®absorbs very little water: approx. 0.2 % under normal conditions ( dIn En ISO 291) and only approx. 0.8% on complete saturation with water at 23°C. Its physi- cal properties are so slightly affected by this that it is of little importance for practical purposes.
